WOW!!! I have been gone for wayyy too long! So much has happened since I last posted! We had the Holiday program this year at school, we had our Christmas party, and then I sent the kids out the door for a whole two weeks! wahoo!!!! Oh and then I traveled all over Western PA to visit family and friends AND most important of all, I became an aunt to a beautiful baby niece, Rebecca Marie!!! I am super excited. :)
I am looking forward to spending much of my free time with my niece who lives 45 minutes north, however, I am NOT looking forward to going to back to school tomorrow. :( On one hand I am thinking this is great, the year is half way over! On the other hand, I am thinking we only have 2 months until our first SOL and my students are no where near being prepared!!! UGH, I have so much work ahead of me!!! My kids struggle so much with reading and writing, it amazes me that they still have so much enjoyment with it. Usually a kid would hate what they struggle with. It has been a pretty interesting year so far with what I expect and what I actually see happening in my room. :) Oh the joys of teaching.
Let's see what happens in the year......
